Cherry-picking the best elements of darkwave, dream pop and post-punk, GLAARE have been a burgeoning force in the Los Angeles music scene since their formation in 2012. In a scene which often blurs out substance with style, Glaare meticulously craft real hooks and intricate yet subtle arrangements. Glaare is the brainchild of Rachael Pierce, Cameron Carin and Brandon Pierce, a former and founding member of LA heavy prog dreamers Ancestors who has also done time in Buried At Sea, Deth Crux, Night Horse and Soft Kill.
Black Mare is Sera Timms' solo project and it has captivated audiences since the first note of her debut, "Field Of The Host". Listening to her ethereal voice, it's no surprise that Black Mare was invited to perform at the recent Womens' Mass benefit hosted by The Satanic Temple - there is an electric atmosphere to her music that makes hairs stand on end and skin break out in goose bumps, as if she's harnessing the electromagnetic waves traversing the earth with her voice and directing them with purpose at our self-harming species.
