Welcome to So Stoked for Pride - a special Pride weekend rave!! This entire week is a celebration of all that is different or queer in the eyes of society. We celebrate being ourselves and expressing our choices and our love in the ways we want and feel comfortable. The rainbow colors symbolize PLURality and love of life. The open display of the flag in different forms shows that the gay community has enormously gained in self-confidence. Acceptance has always been one of the main principals of raves. Let's celebrate acceptance and equality! Let's RAVE!

Chris Korda's PotterDraw is a free, open-source 3D software application for designing and visualizing pottery in full color. It can be combined with a 3D printer to make physical pottery, or used to create digital art and shape-morphing animations. The pot's outer wall is drawn using a spline editor. Trigonometric effects can be applied to both the mesh and the texture, and the effects can be modulated in real time using low-frequency oscillators similar to those found in music synthesizers. I'll show favorites from my collection of virtual pottery, and then demo the software and try to explain what its many effects do. Reactive texture mapping!

Chris Korda is an inventor, artist, musician, and cult leader, whose projects include virtual pottery, an AI-enhanced musical instrument (ChordEase), a polymeter music sequencer, and specialized VJ software. Chris is best known as Reverend of the Church of Euthanasia, and as a composer and performer of electronic music. Chris also developed software professionally for over 35 years, including 18 years in the 3D printing industry, writing firmware, communication protocols, and desktop software for color 3D printers and for large-format 3D printers.

Evo Heyning: Do your interactive choices have real value in the new world of massively decentralized media? How cna we create new types of public media that work WITH player participants around the world? Where do AI, mixed reality and civic engagement meet audiences? Stories? Game shows? VR experiences or LBEs! 360 interactive series? With interfaces all around us, how will we take in the vastness of XR clouds? Evo's LIT channels explore the deeper value of immersive action and the convergence of emerging tech with invitations to collaborative action.

Evo Heyning's work tests the limits of XR, ML, media & blockchains for returning interactive value as new cultures are created for collaborative production and play. Strawberry Girls are redefining the genre of instrumental rock music. Started as a progressive mathematical guitar project by former Dance Gavin Dance guitarist Zac Garren. The trio sticks to a strong DIY ethic, recording and producing their own records at drummer Ben Rosett's home studio, Spirit Vision. Their style leans on a dynamic, precise instrumental groove that is fun and technical while retaining vibrant melodies. Strawberry Girls' visceral energy on stage is communicated through tightly-rehearsed tunes and wildly energetic performances. Watch and listen:

Do you have a drink-serving robotic contraption whose powers of automated intoxication must be shared with the world? Have you created a pulsing, apocalyptic juggernaut of booze and steel?

Can it go the distance? Do you think your cocktail robot has a chance at winning the title of Best Robot Bartender?

We at DNA Lounge cordially invite you to bring your cocktail robot to our fine establishment for a night of Robot Happy Hour -- and to enter the fifth annual Cocktail Robotics Grand Challenge.

We supply the booze and you bring a robot bartender with whom you'll wow, delight, and intoxicate attendees -- and our panel of celebrity judges for $1,000 in cash prizes!

Spectators and Victims:

$20 advance, $25 day of show. Admission includes two robot drink chips to spend at any cocktail robot. Additional drink chips will be available for $6 each. Human attendees must be 21 or older.

Robots and Builders:

The contest entry fee is $45 per robot. This also includes entry to the event for your build team.

If you'd rather just exhibit your robot without all the judgement of entering the contest, admission is free! Just let us know on the sign-up page.

Judging will be based on:

Style and Grace: How clever, how dapper is that robot of yours?

Efficiency of Intoxication: Are the drinks it makes good?

Full-Assery: The opposite of halfassery. Does the infernal device actually work, or do you have to stand there tweaking it constantly?

This Will End Badly: Extra consideration will be given for terrible ideas and Mad Science.

Robot Happy Hour begins at 5pm. Contest judging is at 8pm. Partying to continue into the night!

Spectators and Victims: buy your advance tickets above. Admission includes two robot drink chips!

Robots and Builders: Sign up at the registration page.
