Why wait until October to dress up in costume? That's why Bootie celebrates APRILWEEN -- Halloween in April! Dress up in costume for a chance to win cash prizes in the Midnight Costume Contest! Special guests Videod!sco from Hungary play a special video mashup set, live mashup rock band Smash-Up Derby takes to the Main Stage at 11 PM for a spooky set, and DJs Faroff, Adrian A and JimiG throw a few wickedly fun Halloween mashups into the mix in the Main Room.

Upstairs in the Lounge, the DJs behind one of Bootie's most popular residencies throws down an all-mashup version of their hip-hop room -- it's Ya Mamma's Mashups! In Above, it's Turbo Drive, a night of new music that pays tribute to the retro-futuristic synth sounds of the '80s -- imagine the sounds of Miami Vice meets Blade Runner. And in the Dazzle Room, Brass Tax returns to bring their delirious, roof-raising dance sounds. All this, plus drag hosts Qween and Johnny Rockitt, FREE Bootie mashup CDs to the first 50 people, and club photography by ShutterSlut, who will be on hand to snap shots of all your amazing costumes!

Launched in 2003 by San Francisco DJ duo A Plus D, Bootie was the first club night dedicated solely to the then-burgeoning bootleg mashup scene -- and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with parties in cities across the globe. Winning various nightlife awards for the past 13 years, Bootie celebrates pop culture both past and present, keeping your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations, providing the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation.
