Mercury Soul is bringing Baroque & Beats to San Francisco's DNA Lounge to show our fans the wilder side of baroque music. Tightly interwoven with DJ sets, our musicians will perform masterworks as part of a gorgeous, multimedia-infused concert bringing together the worlds of classical music and EDM/electronica.

This time around we'll have the incredible Philharmonia Baroque performing Vivaldi's dance of madness, La Folia, the raucous A Gran Battaglia by Uccellini, and Falconieri's Sonata detta L'infante archibizzarra. Elevate Ensemble will be playing Vivaldi's joyfully regal Concerto for Two Trumpets, and two works by Samuel Schedit: Canzona Bergamasca and the rallying battlecry Galliard Battalia. The San Francisco Conservatory of Music's Baroque Ensemble performing living composer Christopher Theofanidis' Baroque-inspired Muse, Bach's Violin Sonata No. 3 in C major, and the effervescent Concerti for Strings in A and C Major (RV 160 & 109 respectively) by Vivaldi.
