It seems like everyone loves celebrating their birthday at Bootie SF, but no one more than Bootie co-creator and resident DJ Mysterious D, who will be doing a special prime-time B-day set! She's even hand-picked all the DJs, upstairs rooms, and talent for the night! Helping to hold down the Main Room will be Entyme and Jimi G, while Smash-Up Derby takes to the stage at 11 PM to play live rock versions of Mysterious D's favorite mashups! Plus, aerialist JonBenet Butterbuns takes flight high above the dance floor for the Midnight Mashup Show.

Upstairs in the Lounge, it's Retro Electro, as Adrian (of A Plus D) and Matt Hite spin electroclash from the early 2000's. In Above, it's VJ Tripp's Video Party, as he spins dance music videos on the big screen. And in the Dazzle Room, it's Brass Tax, as DJs Marky Ray, Haute Mess, and more bring their signature delirious sound that continues to tear the roof off at their monthly rager in the Mission. All this, plus drag hosts WooWoo Monroe, Shelix, and Abominatrix, as well as club photography by ShutterSlut, and free Bootie CDs to the first 100 people through the door!

Launched in 2003 by San Francisco DJ duo A Plus D, Bootie was the first club night dedicated solely to the then-burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup -- and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with regular parties in several cities. Winning various nightlife awards for the past 12 years, Bootie celebrates pop culture both past and present, keeping your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations. Mixing and matching every musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party, it's a place where everyone is welcome. And with free mashup CDs given away like candy, Bootie provides the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation.
