A Wilhelm Scream
Point of View
Stickup Kid
Melodic hardcore with a sense of pop punk fun, A Wilhelm Scream is something music nerds and heavy rock lovers alike can get into with ease. The band started out as Adam's Crack, a delightfully immature name, and moved on to Smackin' Isaiah before finally settling on the current moniker. Over time, the band, too, has matured right along with their name changes, and added new members to complete their sound. Full of shredding guitar, catchy hooks, punkily growled vocals, song titles like "I Wipe My Ass With Showbiz," and fast and loud rhythms, A Wilhelm Scream will satisfy both the aging punk and the one that is new to this whole thing. The band doesn't mind taking their time to perfect their blend of punk, rock, and hardcore -- in late 2013 fans finally got a new full-length album after six years of waiting, and were frothing at the mouth for the tunes. But if you can't get a new A Wilhelm Scream album, a live show will quench your thirst for now. The band stays on point, musically smashing every moment, while keeping the audience yelping and jumping and ready for more. Mosh pits, head banging, or singing along with tongue firmly in cheek, there's a little something for everyone with A Wilhelm Scream's energetic live set.
