Hawthorne Heights have been making a name for themselves since forming in Ohio in 2001. Beginning as a screamo band, but adding more and more interesting elements with every release. And now that nearly 15 years have passed, it's no surprise that these guys have treaded a lot of ground. Constant touring, musical experimentation, lineup changes, and tragedy have forged the group into a band worth listening to -- more than just your average early 2000s band that is still kicking. As the years passed, the creativity of the frontman JT Woodruff and his crew seemed to grow wildly. Hawthorne Heights added electronic elements like synths as well as mandolin (you don't see that in hardcore!) to diversify their sound while never letting go of the core traits that made them so popular: crafty rock and roll songwriting filled with emotion. These guys know how to rock -- and yet they make their tunes accessible, so fans from all over the music spectrum can enjoy themselves, headbang, and let loose during their dynamic live show. But it aint every day you get to see a loud, raucous, rock and roll band stripped down to the bone: for Hawthorne Heights fans, now's your chance. More known for aggressive Warped Tour-ready rock sets than bare bones acoustic numbers (although several bonus songs and JT solo tours have taken place), Hawthorne Heights is once again challenging their legacy with their acoustic-only shows. Fans will get to hear a softer side of the band.
