Skeletonwitch doesn't pull their punches. The Athens, Ohio band brings pure metal power to the stage every time -- gifting the audience with heady solos, flying hair, and a no holds barred barrage of fast, loud, and slightly evil grooves. And you wouldn't expect any less from a band that Danzig chose to join him on tour. Singer Chance prowls around stage headbanging and growling, the fearless leader in a five piece army of black-clad, tattooed metalheads. Dual guitar shredding form the backbone of Skeletonwitch, with thrashy riffs and pounding drums rounding out their heavy metal sound -- it's menacing, but exactly what you want when you need to headbang. The band isn't playing around with their heavy brand of darkness. Lyrics often muse on evil, annihilation, and crushing the weak. Not exactly stuff for lightweights! After more than a decade of touring, Skeletonwitch is a tight little band of brothers bringing American metal to the people. They are goddamn metal professionals. Skeletonwitch brings constant energy, delivering high powered musical assaults for every song, whether it's a more complex slow builder or an all-out thrasher. And for a group of such evil dudes, you can tell by the occasional smile that they're enjoying every minute of it.
