Out of the bowels of Minneapolis comes Industrial metal band American Head Charge
. Started in 1997 under a few short lived band names such as "Flux"
, and "Warsaw Ghetto Pussy,"
and finally settling on an more spotlight-friendly band name, AHC exploded on to the underground scene. With down-tuned guitars, tom heavy drums, creepy keyboard backing, and yelling vocals it is clear that AHC was heavily influenced by bands such as Korn, Mudvayne, and Slipknot. After being on hiatus for several years, and the death of a guitarist, AHC reunited in July of 2011 and began to tour. Now touring in support of their newest EP "Shoot",
which sounds like something out of a horror movie (in a good way).
