The documentary Miss Representation by Jennifer Siebel Newsom premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, and aired on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. The film explores how the media's misrepresentations of women have led to the underrepresentation of women in positions of power and influence.

After the documentary, there will be a discussion panel of amazing women who will answer any of the audiences questions, and will hopefully be a wonderful opportunity for further education and dicussion. There will then be music and a chance to mingle and network. Dessert snacks will be provided as well as tea service from the women of FemininiTea. So far the panel of women consists of KC Crowell and Daphne Gottlieb.

To those who donate, you will recieve priority seating and your name on the guest list. Anyone who donates $50+ will recieve a gift bag filled with goodies from the FemininiTea group, two names on the guest list and front row seating.
