It's a Bootie Fiesta! Resident DJs A Plus D will be keepin' it spicy, mixing in some Spanish-language mashups into their sets, in honor of this week's upstairs room, ¡Pinche Pirata! (English translation: Fucking Pirate!) Presented by DJ Amylulita, the global-ghetto-soundclash could only come from the creator of New York City's long-running Spanish-language indie dance party "Nacotheque," which after five years is not only still going strong, but has toured the world. She'll be joined by local Argentinian DJ Juan Data, who is soon to release his ñu-cumbia project Bondi Blaster on Stronghold Sound.

Bootie's own house band, Smash-Up Derby, will take the stage at 11 PM to play a set of live rock mashups, while for the Midnight Mashup Show, it's the solo debut of infamous faux queen Holy McGrail. Guest DJ John!John! joins in on the festivities for a special main floor late-night set.

Launched in 2003 in San Francisco by A Plus D -- aka DJs Adrian & Mysterious D -- Bootie was the first club night dedicated solely to the burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup -- and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with regular parties in several cities on four continents. Voted "Best Club Night" for the past six years, Bootie keeps your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations, mixing and matching every musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party. Providing the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation -- and free mashup CDs given away like candy -- it's a place where everyone is welcome.
