Party like it's the year you were born! Bootie SF presents '70s vs. '80s Mashup Night, as resident DJs Adrian & Mysterious D and live mashup rock band Smash-Up Derby mash up songs from your favorite two decades! Expect to hear retro classics mashed up with more current hits.

Continuing the theme in the upstairs room will be award-winning DJ Bus Station John, the incorrigible retro vinyl addict infamous for his long-running Thursday night party at Aunt Charlie's in the Tenderloin, Tubesteak Connection. He'll be spinning rare disco-funk on old-fashioned records all night.

And for the Midnight Mashup Show, Bay Area singer Xavier Toscano will be belting out a classic R.E.M. song live, mashing it up and giving it a modern electro twist.

Launched in 2003 in San Francisco by A Plus D -- aka DJs Adrian & Mysterious D -- Bootie was the first club night dedicated solely to the burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup -- and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with regular parties in several cities on four continents. Voted "Best Club Night" for the past six years, Bootie keeps your brain guessing and body dancing with creative song combinations, mixing and matching every musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party. Providing the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation -- and free mashup CDs given away like candy -- it's a place where everyone is welcome.
