Direct from France, Bootie is proud to present a rare U.S. appearance by famed French mashup team Loo & Placido. Having toured all over Europe, these "Electronic Popstar Killers" have garnered a well-earned reputation for their sets, where the best of today's and yesterday's music is blended in a sort of 'Back to the Future' avalanche mix, resulting in a tasty electro/rock/hiphop mixture. And by adding a few machines and keyboard, as well as Placido's voice, the duo create even more interactivity with the audience, giving a live feeling to their show missing from most typical DJ sets.

Live mashup rock band Smash-Up Derby hits the stage at 11 PM, while residents A+D are back from doing Bootie in Hong Kong and Singapore. In the upstairs room, Bootie welcomes the infamous cutting-edge electro club night Lights Down Low, with DJs Sleazemore and Eli Glad. And for the Midnight Mashup Show, it's the return of the always outrageous Monistat.

Launched in 2003 in San Francisco by DJs Adrian & Mysterious D, Bootie was the first club night in the United States dedicated solely to the burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup -- and is now the biggest mashup event in the world, with regular parties in several cities on four continents. Mixing and matching every conceivable musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party where everyone feels welcome, Bootie provides the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation -- with free mashup CDs given away like candy!
