This is what's left over, after the comedy night here tonight? Did you know there was a big comedy night here? Nah?
It was fuckin' packed! It was jam packed, line around the corner! We pull over after driving 82 fuckin' hours to get here, and we're like wow, look at that fuckin' line down the street!
Not for you, assholes!
Ok, great after the comedy's over, they're all gonna stay! They all high-tailed it outta here instantly! They're like, puppet show, we're outta here! We're fuckin' outta here.
So we are what's left after the good night here. After the bar made a whole bunch of money, we're the band that makes the staff stay a little longer because they have to work eight hours.
So basically it was, "If I told them once, I told them a hundred times, put Spinal Tap first, and puppet show last." Which is ironic, since Green Jello has a puppet show.

Green Jello? The "Three Little Pigs" Green Jello? They're still playing shows? God damn.
Yeah instant flashback to 90's "Juice TV" - New Zealand's ... answer? ... to MTV.
It probably wouldnt have made much difference but he host of Mortified didn't make the usual announcement at the end of the show stating it was okay for the audience to stay for the next show.
I thought that was intentional and DNA was going to clear out the room since it was a more expensive band show versus the usual DJ dance party that follows Mortified.
Anyway War Troll and Green Jello were amazing (and so was Mortified).
Normally we just roll over from Mortified into whatever show is happening later, but there was over an hour gap between them this time because we had to do sound check after Mortified instead of before. So most people probably weren't gonna stick around through that anyway even if the shows were, uh, "more compatible".
🤣 Love a good Spinal Tap reference and quote!
Great way to start the day!
