Wherein we have new face masks!

We now have an upgrade from our standard face mask design!

Our Deluxe Mask is a screen-printed, hand-made cotton twill mask with built-in over-the-nose wire (to keep your glasses from fogging up) and adjustable elastic ear straps -- and these masks glow in the dark!

(Well, to be honest, the glow isn't nearly as strong as it is on our t-shirts. But if you charge the masks up under a blacklight, they continue to glow for quite some time!)

The Deluxe Masks are a bit more expensive, at $25 each, but the craftsmanship is outstanding.

We currently have both the Deluxe Mask and the Standard Mask in stock, so get yours today!

(You are wearing a mask every time you leave the house, right? Right?)

You teased at the possibility of dazzle masks too. Since I'm not near enough to come pick up, I'd like to group my order if possible. Is that looking to be in the (as predictable as covid allows) near future, or no?

That's the plan, but I haven't figured out the best manufacturing solution for those yet. I'd like them to be cheaper than the Deluxe version, but they need to be full bleed.

The standard masks are well made too in case anyone is on the fence. Can't go wrong folks.

I can vouch for the standard masks. They are excellent. One lives in the pocket of one of my hoodies, which is all I wear now.

I have a big head. Big enough that any existing mask really pulls (hurts) my ears. Will these work for a huge noggin? I love the nose wire bit to prevent my glasses from fogging.

Looks like you don't do international (Australia) delivery. Or can that be arranged...?

    • jwz says:

Yes we do. Why do you think we don't?

      • Ian says:

I went through checkout, and the options were USPS and Hold for pick-up. I didn't see an international option and $3.95 seemed a bit light on for "almost literally the other side of the planet". :)

        • jwz says:

It adjusts the shipping price once it knows your country. And yes, we ship via USPS.

Cool. Ordered. It was a bit counter-intuitive to hit the payment button when I didn't want to pay yet. I'm still glad to support your business remotely though - all the best!

            • jwz says:

Well the alternative to doing it this way makes it be more clicks to order, in the default case. I can't stand checkout pages that take 5+ screens to complete. Press button, receive candy!

Yes, but it was a double pain for me in my international-so-not-default case. I hit the button, and it said that the postage was now higher and asked me to confirm, and then I had to re-enter my credit card details. So that was 20+ extra button presses in the non-default case. Just the CVV would have been fine.

Looking forward to the fine merch.

Yeah, it is annoying that you have to re-enter the card number if something goes wrong, but that's a side-effect of the fact that my server doesn't receive the card number at all... which, in general, is a good thing.

    Are they gone already?

I just received the Standard face mask and it's great!

One small point though, the stated value on the package was $35 so the following happened:
Since it's just above the EUR 22 maximum that trigger the import VAT, they pick some arbitrary package value, in this case EUR 62.19.
I then had to pay EUR 5.60 taxes and EUR 13.00 handling fees.

So the handling fees exceeded the cost of the mask. If you note the contents as "clothes/merchandise" with a $15 value that would avoid the above.

Thanks for letting us know! Honestly I have no idea how international shipping works, since prior to the ongoing apocalypse we did it maybe once a year.
