11-Nov-2012 (Sun) Wherein we dry up.

Good bye, DNA Pizza Water Feature, and good riddance.

That thing never worked right in the ten years or so it's been here. Instead of being a sheet of water it was a series of drizzles. We tried to make it not suck; we failed. So now we can replace it with posters! Which don't suck. And will never splash you, and probably won't ever smell funny.

Some photos:

Actually we have no photos of Deiphago, but there are a few videos, which are the first videos of Above DNA, so there's that?

I guess what I'm saying is that the new photo pass regime has not yet borne fruit.

Come on, you slackers, throw me a bone here.

Cameras, Mr. Zawinski, are simply not metal. And yes, this applies even to the ones made of metal.

I always hated that thing. It stank, it didn't work, and people would stick their grimy paws in it all the time.

    Good riddance indeed.

What's the deal with the photo pass? Someone shows up with a DSLR and gets free entry if they take photos for you? Or it's for people who have already bought tickets, and the deal is that they get to take pics of the show as long as they share?
