Wherein photos are presented.
Photos of the Attrition + High Blue Star show are up now. Two great bands, and almost nobody came. I think there were like twelve people here when HBS started.
You may be wondering about the "rolling" effect on a couple of the pictures. They came out that way due to a nearly-disasterous incident with a corrupted camera card. We probably could have edited them back to normal, but they look kinda neat that way...

My attorney in these matters did not advise attendance. Got an RSS feed that will warn me the day-of so I can remember to attend?
Any upcoming shows we should watch out for?
I've found that RSS is pretty useless for calendars, but there is an iCal feed.
Nina Hagen is next week.
I'm a little surprised you thought Attrition was great (although I agree). How do you figure it was different from other karaoke bands?
Hey, I have an idea. I'm just never going to discuss this topic with you again. It's boring.
For me, the one thing that made it different was the amazing voice of Laurie Reade, who did all the Attrition female vox parts as well as singing in her own band, the opener High Blue Star. According to Martin, she rehearsed with them a total of one time and learned all the Attrition songs from MP3 files that he sent to her from England to Minnesota, where HBS is based. Her performance was enough to make me forget that most of the music was prerecorded.
They had instruments etc. Were they not plugged in? I noticed the Nord Rack and Emu Emax especially, cuz I'm a synthdork.
