Hailing from Nashville Tennessee, David Miller and Samuel D'Amelio joined forces in 2011 to create their independent electronic collaboration Future Unlimited
. Adopting most of their musical influences from the recent past; F.U. takes stylistic direction from great 80s bands: The Cure, Joy Division, Tears for Fears, and Cut Copy. Creating iconic anthems using soaring vocals and lush synthesizer tracks helps further tie F.U. to their musical heritage.
Even though their sound is heavily rooted in the past, Dave and Sam are still very much looking to the future. With the goal of creating fresh interpretations they have incorporate crazy rhythmic choruses to the more recognizable planar synths and mechanical bass throbs of the 80s. With a limited budget and resources, Dave and Sam describe Future unlimited as a complete labor of love. Living in a cramped single bedroom apartment and creating music in between sleep and graveyard shifts, the bootstrap effort that has brought the world Future Unlimited delivers to the listener quality and content that far surpases big label bands.
