FOG CITY WRESTLING |
One Year Anniversary Show! Main Room: Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match: Hair vs. Mask Match: King Dabada vs. TNA Superstar Hernandez South of the Boarder Brawl: The World Premiere of Late Night Primtimes "Luxury Suite": Also scheduled to appear: |
"Best Body Slams: The folks at Fog City Wrestling want you to watch a luchador slam a Tom Cruise impersonator into the floor. They want you to see a Samoan take-down team (combined weight: 1,100 pounds) take on the "Reno Punks" in a swirling, convoluted drama of independent pro-wrasslin'. Sweaty, in-your-face, "maybe knock you over if you're in the front row" wrestling has come back to San Francisco after what promoters Caesar Black and Steve Armani claim has been a 30-year absence. Fog City's shows are packed with so many acts, highlights, and subplots that things get raucously confusing. With a full-size ring and professional sound and lights, it brings a high level of showmanship with a big ol' plate of athleticism on the side. Wrestlers like Rikishi, the Mexican Werewolf, and Mister Primetime pull big-show moves -- flying back flips, body slams, and pile drivers -- just like them whut you see on the tee-vee." -- SF Bay Guardian

music blogosphere as the go-to indie-hop mashup
guys. Marauding the pop, rap and R&B landscapes to mash up
Dirty South rap to Canadian indie rock to "French Touch"
electro, these Pitchfork-approved mashup boys have played CMJ
showcases to South by Southwest, and have enjoyed sets

Mixing and matching every conceivable musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party where everyone feels welcome, Bootie provides the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation -- with free mashup CDs given away like candy! Death Guild presents SEABOUND + DE/VISION |
Performing live: With DJs: |
"On Seabound's Double-Crosser, you'll find catchy club tracks as well as melancholic ballads and soundtrack-like instrumentals. Common for all tracks is the brilliantly and complex elaborated electronic compositions. The songs are never one-dimensional - Seabound loses the sterility, from which a lot of other bands in this genre suffer, due to the sometimes harmonic-melancholic and sometimes very dark but always dynamic chant of Frank. With this album [...] the band found their own niche between Electropop and EBM." --Reflections of Darkness

Death Guild
presents COMBICHRIST |
Performing live: |
"Pummeling dancefloor grooves and distorted beats combined with
scathing vocals and electro arrangements produce a full-tilt
dancefloor onslaught. The new Combichrist album is a must for
all lovers of the harsher, more noisy and danceable stuff.
Expect world domination with their upcoming album, What The
F*&$ Is Wrong With You People?" "Black Light Burns is former Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland's new project that also features former members of A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, and Methods of Mayhem. Black Light Burns' overall sound is closer to that of Nine Inch Nails than anything ever put out by Limp Bizkit. The computerized notes on many songs on the album are at times reminiscent of Stabbing Westward or even She Wants Revenge." --Tunelab |

Whore for Satan
presents CEREMONY |
Performing live: Ceremony |
"Ceremony is hateful and unrelenting hardcore/punk from
California. Ceremony formed from several mid-level (in
notoriety) hardcore bands in the Bay Area a couple years back,
and have since transformed themselves into one of the most
promising hardcore bands in years. "If you're still out of the loop, Ceremony plays hardcore stylistically similar to early acts like Negative Approach and Black Flag, or more recently, Unbroken. What the songs lack in length they make up for in intensity. And even though the songs aren't written in style of much of today's hardcore, there are plenty of opportunities to sing-along. In fact, "You're all the Same" and "Throwing Bricks" are just that, entire songs as sing-alongs." -- Scene Point Blank |

Meat represents more than six years of stompy dance music and tasty BBQ. Death Guild is one of the longest running goth/industrial clubs in the world, clocking in at more than fifteen years. They battle it out in an abattoir-themed environment with costumed blood-splattered go-go dancers, video, and free fresh BBQ meat.
