Helios Jive, In their only Bay Area appearance! Helios Jive has been getting audiences dancing all over the world including appearances at Coachella, Electric Picnic, Burning Man, and Vegoose. Helios Jive is an intoxicating cocktail of eclectic sounds stirred with a dash of electronic jazz, shaken up with a funky backbeat and served up piping hot. The live show is a multi-media event featuring interactive video, live mural painting, and costume changing improv theatrical comedians that dance and interact with the audience all set to the amazing music of Helios Jive. Their debut album 'Heliosentric' was awarded 'Best Independent Jazz Album' at the L.A. Music Awards '05. Sultry Latin vocalist Fernanda Karolys joined the band 2 years ago adding another dimension with her unique voice to the already smoking sound of Helios Jive.
