Firmly entrenched in the pioneering legacy of Goodie Mob's Soulfood and Oukast's ATLians, CunninLynguists leap out of the congested crowd of today's Southern rap. Life and death, racism, relationships, religion, strife and striving are topics touched on by rappers, Deacon the Villain, Natti and Kno. Holding their own in collaborations with Cee-lo, Immortal Technique and Devin the Dude put the CunniLynguists among respected company.

From the creators of Delicious and Martini Wednesdays in the Castro comes the return of mega lesbian dance party Cream. This monthly women's event takes place every 1st Friday of the month with resident DJs Kathy Valenti and Carlitos spinning the sweetest Hip Hop, Old School, Latin, and Pop music. Sexy Cream Dancers and lots of free CD giveaways are sure to have the energy pumping at this all girl party. Cream has gained a cult following of women who come from all over Northern CA to enjoy this extremely diverse group of people gathering together to dance and socialize through music.

New Wave City is the first & foremost 80s dance party, devoted to the best in alternative dance music from the New Wave era of the late 70s and early 80s. Each event features a tribute to one of the seminal acts of the period. You'll hear songs from the featured artist throughout the evening as well as the rest of the best of New Wave.

Tonight, Bootie presents the San Francisco debut of live DJ WiiJ band Miyamoto, as they present their new show, "Super Mash Brothers: Bootie." Miyamoto is a unique hybrid band which combines a DJ using hacked Nintendo Wii controllers (known as "WiiJing") with live guitar, video mixing, keyboards, and other Wii devices, such as a wireless Guitar Hero controller. In the upstairs lounge, Electro-Bootie returns. It's our monthly "club-within-a-club" showcasing electro bootlegs, remixes, and covers, with guest DJ Maxentropy, from Philadelphia. And at midnight, the Funk4Soul dance collective will perform the midnight mashup show.
