Mixing and matching every conceivable musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party where everyone feels welcome, Bootie provides the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation - with free mashup CDs given away like candy!

Resident DJs Adrian, the Mysterious D, and Party Ben keep your brain guessing and your feet dancing with creative song combinations, while live house band Smash-Up Derby rocks the house every month at 11 PM. Guest mashup DJs from around the world are featured, while the infamous midnight mashup show showcases popular local drag and burlesque performers. This month, live on stage, it's San Francisco's own Party Ben, spinning a special feature set right after midnight. In the upstairs lounge, DJ Jay-R hosts the '90s Mashup Room, spinning only bootlegs from the '90s. And making their Bootie midnight mashup show debut, it's the SF Boylesque dance troupe!

POP ROXX

Hosted by Michael Sparkle

Pop Roxx combines the best flavors of SF nightlife. Rotating top DJs from the City's most popular dance parties, Pop Roxx keeps the energy high with an eclectic mix of indie, new wave, rock, and electronic dance tunes. The party presents industry breaking buzz bands hot on the cusp of infamy. Add to the mix the world famous Bootie Mash-Up Lounge, industrial-grade go-go dancers and VIP bottle service, and Pop Roxx serves up a world class nightlife and dance floor experience.

"IO Echo had a haunting presence the second the curtains were drawn. I couldn't help thinking of a female fronted Bauhaus or shades of Siouxise and the Banshees. The goth imagery was accompanied by some post punk fast paced rock that is not far from The Horrors." -- Amateur Chemist

"IO Echo has a flair for the dramatic. She's all about whispered vocals, spare piano melodies or guitar notes, reverb and the occasional artful scream. So if you're in the mood for something moody and morose, take a listen." -- DC Style

EGO LIKENESS

industrial.

9pm - 2am.

$7 advance; $10 door.

Performing live:

Ego Likeness
Jessica Vale
Equilibrium

With DJs:
Joe Radio (Death Guild)
Blau

The music of Ego Likeness ranges from raw, darkly experimental trip-hop to moody and melodic electronica to a fusion of industrial rock and darkwave. Coming from art-based backgrounds, Archer and Lynch incorporate their various non-musical projects into the albums, building connections between their creations.

Jessica Vale's album Brand New Disease is dark, loud, lush, and emotional. "Vale is mesmerizing live! It's rare in this genre to find a voice that can be aggressive and beautiful all at once without the studio magic. Not only does she have it, she flaunts it with enigmatic lyrics and a NIN-esque sound." --Metal Edge Magazine
