New Wave City is the first & foremost 80s dance party, devoted to the best in alternative dance music from the New Wave era of the late 70s and early 80s. Each event features a tribute to one of the seminal acts of the period. You'll hear songs from the featured artist throughout the evening as well as the rest of the best of New Wave.

From the creators of Delicious and Martini Wednesdays in the Castro comes the return of mega lesbian dance party Cream. This monthly women's event takes place every 1st Friday of the month with resident DJs Kathy Valenti and Carlitos spinning the sweetest Hip Hop, Old School, Latin, and Pop music. Sexy Cream Dancers and lots of free CD giveaways are sure to have the energy pumping at this all girl party. Launched in 2003, Bootie was the first club night in the United States dedicated solely to the burgeoning artform of the bootleg mashup - and is now the biggest mashup event in the world. Mixing and matching every conceivable musical genre, era, and style into one big dance party where everyone feels welcome, Bootie provides the soundtrack for the A.D.D. generation - with free mashup CDs given away like candy!

Resident DJs Adrian, the Mysterious D, and Party Ben keep your brain guessing and your feet dancing with creative song combinations, while live house band Smash-Up Derby rocks the house every month at 11 PM. This month, it's the Bootie Holiday Party! DJ Adrian will be spinning a "very special" all-Christmas music mashup set from 10-11 pm. Oakland's DJ Jay-R is this month's guest DJ, and Malderor and Redstickman from Fandango turn the upstairs into the "Xmas Lounge." Club Papi Productions presents the Bay Area's most scandalous Latin party every second Friday of the month, featuring two caliente dance floors, after hours dancing until 4am, and the sexy Papi dancers direct from Los Angeles. Hagakure is a Visual Kei band created by Kaya that skillfully expresses the essense of Japanese tradition and style. Its theme, based on "Happiness" and a blend of Japanese theater and poetry, charms and mesmerizes the audience. Even those who belong to the darkest side of the Visual Kei world would be receptive to the universal message of Hagakure's songs.

Tonight, Bootie presents its first ever New Year's Eve party... pirate-style! The evening will feature showcase sets from Bootie's resident DJs, as well as a special NYE set by house band Smash-Up Derby... including a special countdown and song at midnight, following a pre-midnight pirate spectacle by local burlesque star The Indra. The upstairs will turn into The Gay Parrot Lounge, with DJs Earworm (SF) and Freddy, King of Pants (Seattle). And the whole place will turn into a pirate's paradise, with balloons, decorations, treasure, and giveaways of the "Best of Bootie 2007" CD.
