"BETTY X play good heavy industrial punk with female vocals; fans of Ministry and the Genitorturers, take note." -- The Tablet

Considering herself first and foremost a conceptual artist and performer rather than a singer, Betty X's sardonic wit and unapologetic temperament is mirrored in both her music and her powerful (and often theatrical) stage performances. Her music has been described as everything from enigmatic and surreal, to aggressive, nihilistic, and brooding -- as well as sarcastic and snide.

This is an eventful evening focused on the hidden worlds, bringing them out of the woodwork, to join together and bring untold stories to life. It is about skills that are overlooked and uncredited. The ones that become lost art, they come from intensive practice and the passion that helps sustain a balanced living in these contrived times. This fashion is art varying from old lore on a continuum of industrious futurism, in a wearable form. It brings to life characters, creatures and creations of another time, another place and another world that has become misunderstood through fear of the shadows in time.

First 100 people get a limited edition Golden Shelltoes CD!
Ryan's debut solo album is the mark of three+ years of writing, composing, collaborating and many sleepless nights spent in the solitude of his personal recording studio. The result? An album that boasts star power, expert production and is as much hip hop as it is blues, old school, R&B, soul and dirty funk. Crown City Rockers' Headnodic, Jason Stokes, Oakland Faders' DJ Platurn, Bicasso and many more appear as guests, adding to Golden Shelltoes' already broad appeal.

"Ryan Greene has long been an energetic force in bridging the gap between the live musician community and the beats & rhymes contingent a versatile and talented artist with interesting musical ideas." -- SF Weekly

Today, for the Chicago-raised San Francisco transplant, playing sold out shows in every corner of the globe is routine. When Madonna performed at the 2006 Coachella Festival, Kaskade along with Paul Oakenfold were the opening acts. Overseas, Kaskade has been the headliner at huge festivals and events including Field Day and Park Life in Sydney, Australia, or he'll pop up on any given weekend at mega-clubs ranging from Carfax in Johannesburg, South Africa to Summer Dance in Manila. If there's a dance culture alive and well in this world, Kaskade has likely been there, and he's likely scheduled to go there again soon.
