Source Code

Since we're running a rather high-tech club here, I've written a bunch of software to keep it all running. And we're giving it away: here it is! Perhaps you'll find it useful.

This code is all Unix/Mac-oriented: DNA Lounge is a No Microsoft Zone and proud of it.

This is not end-user stuff: if you're not a programmer or website administrator, you won't find any of this stuff useful.

icecast/ Scripts related to the streaming MP3 webcasts.
archiver/ Scripts that archive our audio webcasts, and that serve those archives to the world.
switcher/ Scripts for controlling Knox video matrix switchers, and Panasonic WV-NS324 servo-mounted video cameras.
kiosk/ Scripts and instructions for constructing web kiosks out of diskless Linux workstations which populated the club from 2000 through 2009.
realproducer/ Scripts related to the streaming RealVideo broadcasts that we ran from 2000 through 2009, before switching from Real to Flash-based video.
slideshow/ Scripts related to the JPEG slideshow webcam (also retired in 2009).
website/ Scripts that I use for updating the web site you are reading right now.

Please let me know if you find this stuff useful or make any improvements.
