Wherein the parklet has annexed the sidewalk!

Today we installed the hinged diamond-plate flap to cover the drainage gap between the parklet and the sidewalk. It has a pretty wonky shape because our sidewalk has a pretty wonky shape. It had to be this wide in order to be level. It's pretty heavy, but it flips up to let us clean the gutter and for access to the various utility vaults buried in our sidewalk.

We also got a couple of these, and a couple of these. Check out how long those bolts are!

Only stools and bike rack left to do.

Velcro cable ties would work great if you need to hang up signs.
